The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more.

Fresh Produce comedy open mic
Sunday, December 10 at 7:30pmComedy open mic at the George Street Co-op Café, second and fourth Sundays of every month. Signups start at 7:30pm, performances start at 8:00pm. There’s no cover.
Board Game Tuesday at the Café!
Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00pmAll ages are welcome! Tuesdays from 7pm–10pm, come out and join everyone in a game of chess, checkers, backgammon, Scrabble, or Uno — or bring a different game with you to play! Join the Facebook group here.
The Organic Open Mic
Thursday, December 14 at 7:30pmMusic, poetry, spoken word open mic at the George Street Co-op Café every Thursday. Signups start at 7:30pm or by contacting the hosts in advance. Performances start at 8:00pm. There’s no cover.

RESCHEDULED Board of directors Meeting
Monday, December 18 at 7:30pmThe Co-op’s Board of Directors meets at 7:30pm via zoom, the second Monday of each month. For this month, we will be rescheduling by one week to accommodate our attendance at the New Brunswick Planning Board Meeting. All Co-op members are encouraged to attend Board of Directors meetings, whether you prefer to observe discussion or to (respectfully) take part. Recent happenings at the Co-op
New Saturday hours
New website
Our new website is now online! Many of the features are nearly or exactly the same as before, but the underlying architecture is much more solid and allows us to post updates much faster. Have a look around, and if you run into any problems please let us know.
