We have both staff (paid) and volunteer (unpaid) positions at the Co-op. I can speak about the volunteer side: Members who volunteer get a discount on all purchases, of either 8%, 15%, or 25% depending on how much commitment they've made. They also get all the other usual member privileges, such as making custom product orders, voting in all Co-op elections and referenda, etc.
I'll let someone who's more in the know speak on paid positions, and whether there are any available. But we are nowhere near any limits on volunteer positions available -- there is always work to be done.
Thanks for your inquiry, and feel free to ask anything else you're curious about.
Peace,
John
