Committee Corner

The Membership Committee presented our Shoppers’ Survey report at the General Membership meeting on June 2.  We worked diligently to represent all voices who participated in filling out the survey.  And we tried to be as thorough as possible in collating the data and reporting the findings.

Our next project is SUMMERFEST, 2007.  Our committee has reserved a grove at Johnson Park in Piscataway to host a summer social event for Co-op members and shoppers.  Please mark the date of Saturday, July 28 on your calendar and join in the festivities.  We will provide paper goods, charcoal for the grills, and beverages (including beer).  We invite all of you (members and shoppers) along with your friends and family members, to join us for food, games, and music.  Please bring a yummy food to share, your favorite Frisbee, ball game, or outside activity, and perhaps a musical instrument.  Our Co-op community holds a wealth of talents and friendliness and we hope you will all come out on July 28 to share and have fun.

The next meeting of the Membership Committee has not been scheduled as of this printing.  However, if you would like to join us and help plan for SUMMERFEST, 2007, please call Jim Walsh, our committee chairperson.  We’d love your input.
