We are embarking on a project for the Co-op that will require cutting blocks of Styrofoam. The absolute best tool for this purpose uses a wire heated to about 400° F. It's called a hot-wire foam cutter, and they cost something like $30 at various online outlets.
I was wondering if anyone in the Co-op community happens to own one of these already. If so, a one-day loan would be extremely helpful.
Please reply to this thread with any resources or suggestions.
Thanks,
John
