the center for an agricultural economy has set up a zero-interest loan program for the small farms in vermont, devastated by the Irene floods. they accept monetary donations. if you were thinking of making a donation to help the sustainable farms in vermont, please consider this one.

there is a pdf on this site explaining the program. if i find any more worthy organizations, i will post them here. any other thoughts from co op member, beyond the global organizations, would be welcomed.
