FDA OKs Irradiated Lettuce and Spinach - chance to comment

This is a cause for alarm and there is a 30 day public comment period which can be accessed from the link for Organic Bytes on line newsletter below. I wrote the FDA via this link requesting they focus on the health and nurtrition issues surrounding the current production of our food rather than subject it to radiation after the fact to try to correct issues that can be eliminated by more intelligent agricultural procedures.
