Hey George Street Co-Opers!
My name is Emily. I am a former Rutgers student (loved your chocolate covered pretzels back in the day) who is on tour with a show called Slam Up.
Anyway, I wanted to let y'all know that I'm doing a show next Monday, the 29th!!! It's at 8PM the Douglass Student Center in the Bunting Lounge. It's totally FREE, so I'm trying to get the word out there! Potlucks before Hotfucks, baby!
Blurb: Upright Citizens Brigade meets Def Poetry Jam meets comedy-folk duo Garfunkel & Oates in Cali Bulmash and Emily Lowinger’s genderfunk cabaret. Strap in for a musical ride through the many shades of love: requited, unrequited, gay, straight, queer, or, well, just "creative." The duo has performed all over the country and appeared in this year's New York International Fringe Festival. They are on an East Coast Tour promoting their first album ever, Same Brain.
