Herb Garden Project

Hey guys!
I'm currently taking a business writing class, one of our assignments is to create a business proposal. I am making the proposal of creating a rooftop herb garden at the co-op. Once completed I'm hoping that this proposal can be carried from the class room into real life at the co-op. I don't have any gardening experience and basically all the information I have right now is from the library. I'm thinking about doing a container garden as it's removable and relatively inexpensive. If anyone has any advice for me I would really appreciate the feedback. Also let me know if this is a project that you would like to get involved with. I think it would be really cool if this could happen at the co-op and it would be great to have a number of people on board with this project
