Re: Co-op café space

Ellen, I remember the days when that space was called the “member room”, and it was exactly as you’re describing. The DIY aspect was really awesome. We wish him w...

We do! We're out of stock right now — they're becoming very popular — but we're doing a large order that should arrive in the next couple days.

Raw Milk

I just found out that legislation to legalize the sale of raw milk is still sitting stagnant in a committee of the NJ State Senate. You can learn more about this issue (including advocacy opportunities) here: http://www.gardenstaterawmilk.org/

Scientists discover 3 "gut types"

A group of scientists report there are just three distinct ecosystems in the guts of people they have studied. Apparently the guts of infants are randomly colonized by different pioneering species of microbes, which then alter the gut so that only certain species can follow them.

Leigh Davis (Prairie)

I have truly sad news for the Co-op community. This afternoon at 2:45pm, Leigh Davis (known to many of us here as Prairie Fyre) passed away at Robert Wood Johnson's ICU. She had suffered a very bad fall last night, and her injuries proved to be insurmountable. A service is planned in her memory, and...

Help us with a banner!

We're getting a new banner to display over our table at festival events, and we're hoping you all can help us decide what to put on it! The idea here is to attract folks who don't already know about the Co-op — so we something interesting that makes people want to walk over. And to allow the text to...
