The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more.

Membership Committee meeting

Monday, March 15 at 8:00pm
The Membership Committee meets at 8:00pm in the Co-op upstairs, the third Monday of each month. Co-op members are welcome to attend and suggest ways for the Co-op to better serve and represent the values of its members.

Finance Committee meeting

Wednesday, March 17 at 7:30pm
The Finance Committee is meeting at 7:30pm in the Co-op upstairs. All Co-op members are welcome to attend Finance Committee meetings and join us in discussion.

World Water Day

Monday, March 22
World Water Day is an international day of observance and action to draw attention to the plight of the more than 1 billion people around the world that lack access to clean, safe drinking water. Earth Hour

Saturday, March 27 at 8:30pm
Earth Hour falls on the last Saturday in March, at "8:30pm local time, wherever you live on planet earth." At this time, people throughout the world turn out the lights, expressing solidarity with the worldwide campaign to save energy and our environment. Product Committee meeting

Tuesday, March 30 at 7:30pm
The Product Committee meets at 7:30pm in the Co-op upstairs, the last Tuesday of each month. All Co-op members are encouraged to attend and voice their product preferences. Co-op management is always present at these meetings, ready to hear your concerns.
